Matariki in the Zone

Our annual Matariki event has grown, and grown, into a celebration not to be missed.

Avebury House, Richmond Community Garden and Avon-Ōtākaro Network host an accessible, welcoming, winter event highlighting the Ōtākaro Avon River Corridor.

We mark Matariki and aspects of Te Ao Māori with food, music, activities and a week-long trail lighting display.
